& Application Information

All businesses operating within the Town of Cusseta are required to obtain a valid business license before commencing operations.

Standard Business License Fee: $12.50

Half-year rate; valid until Dec. 31
Renewal on January 1 at full-year rate of $25.00

Delivery License (if applicable): $10.00

For businesses qualifying under Section 16 of the Business License Ordinance

Issuance Fee: $14.00

Applies to all licenses

Total for new licenses: $26.50
Total for delivery license: $24.00

FAQs

  • Yes. Any business engaging in activities within Cusseta city limits must apply for and receive a license before operating.

  • You may qualify for a delivery license under Section 16 of the Business License Ordinance. This license is $10.00 plus the $14.00 issuance fee.

  • All licenses expire December 31 of each year. Renewals are due January 1 and are delinquent after January 31 (or February 15).

  • A half-year rate of $12.50 applies if your business starts after July 1. You will still need to renew on January 1.

  • Zoning, building code, and fire code approval may be required if your business has a physical location in Cusseta.
