Welcome to Cusseta

Our History

The Town of Cusseta is a small rural community located in Chambers County, between Opelika and Lanett, just off U.S. Highway 29.

Historically, Cusseta has always been a farming town. Families here have worked the same soil for decades, raising cattle, growing crops, and living close to the land. A few small structures still stand as quiet testaments to its roots, including the old Cusseta schoolhouse and the local post office.
